Summer & Fall 2019, I interned at the Tech team in Figure8.

Figure8 is a experience first development company that builds spaces for people. Museum of Ice Cream opened its doors in the summer 2016, is the first project by Figure8. MOIC right now has two premenent locations in SF & NYC and plan to expand globally. My first project in this company was to redesign MOIC's website 🍦.

Also, I worked on an enterprise application for the company's internal use. This interface offers connected control functions to optimize visitor experience, control and maintain the building and rides, as well as centralize staff and operations management. View Details 👉

ROLE: UI/UX Design & Prototyping

I didn’t just jump from A to B. I researched, organized the hierarchy, created a visual language, iterated through a multitude of designs, and prototyped interactions.

Design Process

Our design process is usually divided into six stages:
Research existing info; Conduct hypothesis; Turn the ideation into sketch; Validate the guess; Develop the prototype and finally track & analyze the result.

Projects Detail

MOIC Website

Redesigned and helped relaunching the Museum of Ice Cream's website, restructuring and simplifying the site architecture, simplifing the landing and ticketing experience, seamlessly migrating third-party vendors and prototyping interactions.

Control Center Dashboard

Designed an integrated B2B application that offers connected control functions to optimize visitor experience, control and maintain the building and rides, as well as centralize staff and operations management.

I learned to become a better designer, communicator & optimist.
And I am really grateful to meet all my colleagues for all the snacks, smiles and supports I received.
